September’s Golden Houseter award winner, an honor that is awarded by staff in our Philadelphia office to a young person who has gone above and beyond in one of our housing programs that month, is Papa!

Despite personal obstacles and challenges, Papa is a motivated and determined young man.  Papa has been able to obtain and maintain two jobs and is a dependable employee. His employers offered him a position after he asked them to be a reference for a separate job opportunity.

Papa has been able to keep his apartment tidy and is very communicative with his Life Skills Counselor. Although Papa has a very busy schedule, he is active in his religious community and has a passion for boxing. He is a responsible youth and an all star tenant!
