This week, we are recognizing AIC member Nydira, who was accepted into several state colleges this fall and has decided to attend Kutztown University. Nydira is a very active member of Achieving Independence Center and PA Youth Advisory Board. She has done an amazing job balancing school, social life, work and extracurricular activities, and was also selected to interview for a highly coveted position with Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania for a summer job. Per her counselor, Nydira has been a reliable and dedicated member with a strong focus on achieving her independent living goals. Congratulations, Nydira!
