This month, we’re recognizing Mariah! Mariah entered foster care in 2008, and stayed in our Bucks County Shelter in 2012 and from 2013 to 2014. Despite frequent interruptions to her education and sometimes-chaotic living environments, Mariah remained an excellent student and a role model at the shelter, remaining caring, easygoing, and eager to help staff as well as her peers, and is now successfully employed as a CNA.
