VYH Receives $50,000 for Bucks County Youth Rapid Re-Housing from Foundations Community Partnership
Valley Youth House is grateful to be the recipient of a $50,000 targeted grant from Foundations Community Partnership to support rapid re-housing for youth in Bucks County. The funding will help to improve outcomes for homeless youth in Bucks County through rental assistance, case management, and short-term emergency assistance. These services will ensure a stable living environment while youth work from their individualized plan to: complete high school and further education according to career goals; prepare for and gain employment; develop life skills; and build linkages with community resources to sustain independence and stability following formal services. The grant specifically will support youth that have a history of trauma and abuse within the family, which led to homelessness.
