Social Work Supervisor – Philadelphia, PA

We are currently looking for a qualified applicant to fill the following position: Social Work Supervisor ($40k-$55k)
Critical Functions of Position:
Provide high-quality leadership, direction, and supervision to team members in all program settings and foster a culturally sensitive, therapeutic, strengths-based, youth-centered environment.
Guide, monitor and ensure quality, safe service delivery, crisis intervention, and critical incident reporting in compliance with agency, county, state, and federal standards of practice and program regulations.
Oversee the referral process and conduct intake interviews, individual and group counseling sessions.
Essential Functions of Position:
Lead team member recruitment, orientation, training, and evaluation, and implement all personnel policies as required.
Be proactive in representing the program and agency in a professional manner and fostering positive community relationships within and outside of the agency.
Process informal and formal client issues, concerns and grievances from a positive youth development perspective and according to official program practice.
To provide effective de-escalation and counseling to escalated, distressed, and/or disruptive young people and assist in the development and implementation of safety plans for all youth as needed.
To generate and maintain reporting elements for clinical and wellness services provided in the assigned program (s)
To manage and supervise the intern/field placement program (as assigned).
Understand and adhere to Valley Youth House policies, practices, and procedures
To participate in weekly scheduled supervision with the Associate Director/Director/Vice President and be prepared with an agenda.
To attend and actively participate in team meetings.
To complete other related tasks as appropriate or assigned.
A minimum of three years of experience working with adolescents is preferred.
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to operate agency vehicles.
