Setting the Stage 2016 Honors John F. & Jane Malloy and Victaulic
John F. and Jane Malloy have been longtime supporters and active volunteers of Valley Youth House. John served on the Valley Youth House Board of Directors and John and Jane participated in and generously contributed to Valley Youth House, including leadership support of the capital campaigns to purchase Camp Fowler and our Maternity Group Home “Great Beginnings”. Jane brought their dogs to the Valley Youth House shelter in Bethlehem, helping youth staying at the shelter by providing therapy and comfort.
John has also created a culture of philanthropy at Victaulic. Victaulic employees have generously supported Valley Youth House in a number of ways. Eric Luftig, a Victaulic executive serves on the Valley Youth House Board of Directors and plays an active role in various committees. Eric and his wife, Tina, generously support Valley Youth House through leadership support of the Great Beginnings capital campaign, Board support, and the United Way. Eric and his team provide strategic marketing, communication, and fundraising guidance to Valley Youth House helping the organization to grow and broaden our reach.
Victaulic provides annual support of Valley Youth House special events, including the annual golf tournament, special events, galas, and capital campaigns. Victaulic has also donated and refurbished over 40 laptops that were given to youth and families who did not have a computer. Victaulic employees organized supply drives for The Synergy Project and donated and wrapped presents for the Valley Youth House Holiday Gift Drive. One employee even donated a mattress that was requested from a youth.
The Malloy’s and Victaulic’s support and involvement with Valley Youth House spans back to 2003. They are humble, kind, and very generous and we are grateful to have the opportunity to honor them at Setting the Stage with Elton John.
