Project Child Program Hosts Annual Conference
Project Child recently hosted their annual training conference at Lehigh University’s Mountaintop Campus. This year’s topic was “How To Help Children Build Sturdy Brain Pathways” and featured Dr. Judy Cameron from the University of Pittsburgh and Harvard University, whose research focuses on how everyday life stress affects long-term health. Attendees learned about ways to foster healthy brain development through four interactive educational sessions, and received certificates of completion at the end of the day. We’re grateful to those who sponsored the conference: The Jaindl Foundation; Hospital Central Services, Inc.; King Spry Herman Freund & Faul; Northampton County Children, Youth, and Families; and Seidel, Cohen, Hof & Reid, LLC. and more!
