Realistic Environment for Adolescent Living (REAL)

REAL provides semi-supervised independent living services for youth transitioning out of a more structured setting or foster care. Youth live in groups of apartments or homes with other housemates. Life skills, individual, group and family therapy are provided, along with money for food and transportation. Youth are given appropriate freedom and responsibility in order to prepare them for independence.

The REAL program consists of a transitional living residence located in the community.  Each youth shares an apartment with another youth or another parenting youth.  The youth are under the supervision of a on-site Resident Advisor.
