Project Child

As a primary child abuse prevention program Project Child brings child abuse prevention information to parents and professionals in the Lehigh Valley.

Child abuse involves a plethora of issues – physical injury to children, sexual abuse, physical neglect, emotional abuse, or children placed at risk of any of the above.  The focus of Project Child’s  efforts include providing school student education through Learning To Care, legislative advocacy, assisting parents by promoting positive parenting in general, including the Help for Families column in the Morning Call, initiatives such as Safe Haven, Safe & Sound with Others Around, child safety, and through Parent Support groups and Parent Education Classes.
