Project SILK Lehigh Valley

Project Silk is an LGBTQ inclusive drop-in program that is youth-led, adult-supported and offers free health services like HIV/STI testing, healthy food and snacks, active recreation, peer supports, and discussions on a variety of health and social topics.

Project Silk staff also bring their experience and passion to the community. The team often goes to schools to deliver presentations and interactive programs focused on helping students make healthy decisions about eating, active living, relationships, stress management, and LGBTQ topics. Staff are also experts in connecting LGBTQ youth to community resources tailored to their needs.

The program is a collaboration between Valley Youth House and the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center and is open Monday through Friday from 3-7 pm.

UPDATE 5/7/20: Project SILK Lehigh Valley will be closed until Tuesday, June 30th.

Lehigh Valley Pride Festival — a 5,000 person annual celebration of LGBT arts and culture now in its 27th year — will be moved to a virtual event still to be held on August 16, 2020
