Eagle Scout, Owen Tobias, Renovated Camp Fowler’s Garden

With the help of Eagle Scout, Owen Tobias, our garden at Camp Fowler has received some tender, love and care!

Owen worked with Matt Galle, Manager at Valley Youth House’s Camp Fowler, on some significant garden renovations for his Troop 1600 Eagle Scout Project. Owen led a team of volunteers in upgrading the garden beds and fencing protection, installing an irrigation and drainage system, and adding a storage shed for tools and materials. Owen raised over $2,200 to complete the project!

“I picked Camp Fowler for my Eagle project because I knew Camp Fowler provides amazing experiences for children who would not normally be able to partake in those opportunities. I also chose this project because I am passionate about the environment and this project had those aspects,” said Owen.

Valley Youth House would like to send out a special thank you to Owen for selecting Camp Fowler as the recipient of his generosity and goodwill! We’d also like to thank the additional contributors on the project, including Northampton County Youth Field Day, Inc., Teen Works, Albright’s Hardware & Garden Center, Charles Chrin Companies, 84 Lumber, and especially to all of the volunteers.
