We are currently looking for a qualified applicant to fill the following position: Child Care Facilitator

 The job duties for this position are as follows:

  •      Supervising and caring for children ages 5-months to 14 years while their parents attend Project Child’s Parenting Class on Thursday evenings from 6:40pm to 8:40 pm, at the Sixth St. Shelter, 219 N. 6th St. Allentown.
  • Completing and submitting all attendance reports and sign-in/out documentation.
  • Ability to work year-round.
  • To demonstrate professional conduct in behavior, appearance and attitude.

2)      State the requirements for this position:

  • The Child Care Worker shall possess a High School diploma /GED or higher.
  • Early childhood education and/or previous experience is a plus.
  •  He/she must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, work reliably and independently, be flexible and organized and change diapers.
  • Must have all child abuse clearances (not volunteer clearances) as recent as 90 days or be willing to apply for them as part of application for employment.

Required years of experience: Minimum 1-year working with children in child care setting.
