Donation "Wish List"
Our residential programs rely on the generosity of caring individuals to help provide a home-like atmosphere for the residents. Because the need for specific items frequently changes, please contact the Development Office at 610-820-0166 or development@valleyyouthhouse.org to see if the items you wish to donate are currently needed. They will also ensure you receive written acknowledgement of your generosity.
Please DO NOT drop items off unannounced as storage space for unneeded items is severely limited. Please donate only items which are in GOOD CONDITION. Where indicated, items must be new/unused.
Listed below are the kinds of items which are often in need:

School supplies such as tablets, pencils, pens, crayons, backpacks

Educational software such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, tutoring programs

Books suitable for children ages 7 through 17, both fiction and non-fiction

Craft supplies such as paints, glue, construction paper, crayons, scissors, markers

Household items such as toasters, mixers, NEW/UNUSED twin size bed linens, NEW/UNUSED bath linens, pots & pans, dishes

Food items such as canned goods, cereals, or staples such as flour, sugar, or food market gift certificates

Computers (Pentium 4 or above), monitors, printers, etc.

NEW clothing items, especially winter coats, socks, and undergarments

Personal toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hairspray, etc.

Gift certificates for stores such as Sears, J.C. Penney, K-Mart, WalMart, etc. for the purchase of clothing, shoes, and other personal items.

Occasionally, some furniture items may be needed. Please check with the Development Office to determine current requirements.
