Mentoring

Be a Mentor.  The children we serve are facing today’s difficult world, yet they have many more hurdles to overcome than others their age. Volunteering in the Child Mentor Program provides you the opportunity to provide support, role modeling, tutoring, recreational activities, and life skills development on an outreach basis in the child’s home or community. 

By volunteering your time to build a supportive relationship with a youth, you can give help them reach their full potential and thrive in the community.  The program is demanding:  Training is required and the children need a commitment of four hours a week, but the rewards are immense.
