Brass Transit - Toronto's dynamic, crowd-pleasing, studio-tight Chicago tribute show rocked Allentown Symphony Hall on Saturday, October 22, 2011 and included hits from Chicago's golden age, 1969-1976. With a world-class horn section, a rocking rhythm section and vocals stacked sky high; Brass Transit transported its audience back to the freewheeling days of the seventies.
The band included veterans of the Hall-of-Fame Rock and Soul acts like the Drifters, Sam and Dave, Aretha Franklin, Ben E. King, The Marvelettes, Frankie Vallie, Mary Wilson, Martha Reeves, Little Anthony & the Imperials, Del Shannon and The Mama's and the Papa's.
Catering by Karen Hunter treated the V.I.P. Platinum guests to a delectable dining experience before the show, while Wegmans added the final touch to the evening with an Afterglow party where band members had a chance to mingle with the guests after the concert.
